Decision:

53/2009 The Cabinet authorised expenditure against the approved Capital Programme for 2009/2010 and future years.

6 Monthly Review of the Council's Corporate Business Risk Register

Decision:

51/2009 The Cabinet noted the comments of the Business Support Overview and Scrutiny Committee and agreed the reinstatement of Risk Reference 14,

Revisions to the Housing Assistance Policy

Decision:

54/2009 The Cabinet approved the Housing Assistance Policy, incorporating the revisions as set out in paragraph 3 of the report subject to the Assistant Director of Housing and Corporate Services being delegated authority, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Community Services, to make minor typographical changes to the Policy prior to publication.

Partners for Growth - Business Funding Scheme

Decision:

58/2009 The Cabinet agreed the revisions to the scheme as set out in Option 1, paragraph 6.1 of the report.

Recruitment Freeze

Decision:

59/2009 The Cabinet agreed to unfreeze the following post, as detailed in Appendix 1 to the report, to enable officers to commence the recruitment process: Children and Adults Services - Victim Liaison Officer.

Establishment of Strood Regeneration Cabinet Advisory Group

Decision:

55/2009 The Cabinet agreed to establish a Strood Regeneration Cabinet Advisory Group with Terms of Reference as set out in paragraph 3.2 of the report.
56/2009 The Cabinet agreed that the Group meet when necessary and that the membership of the Strood Regeneration Cabinet Advisory Group should be eight Councillors: 5 Conservative, 2 Labour and 1 Liberal Democrat and that the appointment of Members to serve on the Group should be in accordance with nominations received from Group Whips.
57/2009 The Cabinet agreed to notify the Council of the Cabinet's intention to redesignate the Chatham Board and the Medway Regeneration Advisory Group as Cabinet Advisory Groups with the terms of reference and size of membership as set out in section 4 of the report with effect from June 2009.

Great Lines Heritage Park - Options Appraisal (Gateway 1)

Decision:

61/2009 The Cabinet approved the commencement of the procurement process (Gateway 1) and the Director of Regeneration, Community and Culture was given delegated authority to amend the delivery plan, if necessary, to deliver the project, in consultation with the Great Lines Heritage Park Steering Group and the Leader.
62/2009 The Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of Regeneration, Community and Culture to award contract no.2, as set out in paragraph 4.5 of the report, following consideration by the Procurement Board.
