Purpose:
This report seeks Cabinet approval to enter
into a formal procurement process for five contracts regarding the
development of the Great Lines Heritage Park initiative.

and Culture
Decision:
61/2009 The Cabinet approved the commencement
of the procurement process (Gateway 1) and the Director of
Regeneration, Community and Culture was given delegated authority
to amend the delivery plan, if necessary, to deliver the project,
in consultation with the Great Lines Heritage Park Steering Group
and the Leader.
62/2009 The Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of
Regeneration, Community and Culture to award contract no.2, as set
out in paragraph 4.5 of the report, following consideration by the
Procurement Board.
Reasons for the decision:
To provide the required flexibility to deliver
the Communities and Local Government funded project on time, and
with the required successful outcomes.
