Outside body

Purpose of organisation:

To work collaboratively to strengthen the retail and leisure offer in the area and to promote and market the town centre to attract visitors and customers, maximising footfall.

To enhance the quality of the environment. To act as a representative group when consulted on matters affecting stakeholders with the area which may arise from the Council or other bodies and response to Council proposals (including draft strategies and planning applications where appropriate).   To seek out and bid for funds to take forward proposals / action plans.
