Apologies for absence Minutes: Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Bhutia, Browne, Carr, Mrs Diane Chambers, Kemp, Mahil, Prenter and Mrs Elizabeth Turpin.
(During this period, the Conservative and Labour and Co-operative political groups had informally agreed, due the Coronavirus pandemic, to run meetings with reduced number of participants. This was to reduce risk, comply with Government guidance and enable more efficient meetings. Therefore, the apologies given reflected that informal agreement of reduced participants). |

Establishment of Sub-Committees Members are asked to agree to the establishment of the Licensing Sub-Committee, Licensing Hearing Panels and Licensing 1982 Act Hearing Panels and appoint Members to them. Additional documents: Minutes: Discussion:
Members considered a report regarding the establishment of the Licencing Sub-Committee, the Licensing Hearing Panels and the Licensing 1982 Act Hearing Panels for the 2021/22 municipal year.
Decision:
The Committee agreed:
a) the establishment of the Licensing Sub-Committee, Licensing Hearing Panels and Licensing 1982 Act Hearing Panels, their size, the allocation of seats to political groups and their memberships as set out in Appendix 2 of the report; and
b) to waive the requirement for political balance in respect of Licensing Hearing Panels and Licensing 1982 Act Hearing Panels, and that the process for selection of Panel Members be as set out in Appendix 2 of the report. |
