Medway Commercial Group - Investigation This report sets out the result of a Kent Police investigation following whistleblower raised concerns with the Council’s Monitoring Officer that some senior staff and board members within Medway Commercial Group (MCG) were invoicing the company for works carried out on projects linked to companies owned by individuals appointed by the Council and as a result were receiving a personal benefit.

Provision for Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation As part of the review of Council owned land, this report sets out proposed options and recommendations for the future use of the former Park & Ride Car Park site in Maidstone Road, Wigmore (referred to in this report as the ‘Wigmore Site’). The Councillor Conduct Committee (the Committee) considered two reports setting out the findings of investigations into alleged breaches of the Councillor Code of Conduct, the Code. The Committee determined that on both complaints Councillor Spalding had breached the Code and has recommended that the Council censure him and require him to return his Council issued laptop.
