Review of By-laws Decision: 252/2002 Cabinet endorsed the continuation of
the process of compiling consolidated by-laws to include relevant
open spaces and public areas within Medway, and to investigate and
report upon any by-laws enacted by Parish Councils that are
currently in force. |

Consultation on relocation of Marlborough Primary Autisitc Unit at Bryon Primary School to become part of Hoo St Werburgh Primary School Decision: 249/2002 Cabinet agreed that consultations be
held on the proposed closure of the Marlborough Special Unit
attached to Byron Primary school from the 31 August 2004 and the
opening of a new unit attached to the Hoo St Werburgh Primary from
1 September 2004. A report back to Cabinet will be made after the
close of the consultation period. |

Acceptance of Tender: Stationery contract Decision: 256/2002 Cabinet agreed to award the contract
for the provision of general office stationery and envelopes to
Kent County Supplies for a period of three years with the option,
at the Council's sole discretion, to extend for a further period of
up to twenty-four months. |

Security at the Municipal Buildings Decision: 254/2002 Cabinet agreed to give further
consideration to the level of security at the Municipal Buildings
in the financial year 2003/2004. |

Schools Best Value Project Brief. |

Asset Management Plan for Schools Decision: 247/2002 Cabinet recommended to Council that
the Medway Schools Asset Management Plan, consisting of the draft
local policy statement, statement of priorities and project
descriptions, be approved to form part of the Council's policy
framework and be submitted to the DfES for appraisal. |

Implementating Electronic Government Statement 2 Decision: 251/2002 Cabinet approved the Implementing
Electronic Government 2 Statement for submission to the Office of
the Deputy Prime Minister by 31 October. |
