1.	Community Centres View the background to item 1. View the decision for item 1. Decision: 3/2006 The Cabinet agreed, subject to suitable budgetary provision being available, to reinstate the revenue budgets for the five community centres on the basis that the following action be undertaken: a) the two community centres at White Road and Woodside are put at the forefront of the next wave of neighbourhood action plans. b) the Hook Meadow Community Centre is developed as a key community enterprise satellite facility for Medway, closely connected to the Community Enterprise Hub. c) that officers seek to secure higher levels of income generation for the Chattenden Community Centre, founded on the greater involvement of existing stakeholders in the management of the Centre, notably London & Quadrant, with an option to include the mechanism of a fully repairing and maintaining lease agreement. d) a full review of the Marlborough Road Community Centre site is undertaken founded on consultation with all existing stakeholders before defining further recommendations to Cabinet for the medium to long-term future role of the site.
2.	Recruitment Freeze View the background to item 2. View the decision for item 2. Decision: 11/2006 The Cabinet agreed to unfreeze the following posts, as detailed in Appendix 1 to the report, to enable the Director of Regeneration and Development to commence the recruitment process: a) Scanning Technicians (x2) b) Public Transport Officer.
3.	Annual Performance Assessment: Children's Services View the background to item 3. View the decision for item 3. Decision: 1/2006 The Cabinet noted the Annual Performance Assessment Report prepared by CSCI/Ofsted.
4.	Annual Performance Assessment: Adult Services View the background to item 4. View the decision for item 4. Decision: 2/2006 The Cabinet noted the Annual Review by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) attached to the report.
5.	Sheltered Housing Review View the background to item 5. View the decision for item 5. Decision: 10/2006 The Cabinet supported the additional post of 'Sheltered Housing Tenant Liaison Officer' funded from the Housing Revenue Account. 6/2006 The Cabinet endorsed the findings of the Sheltered Housing Task Group, subject to the deletion of the word
6.	6 Month Progress on the Council's Performance Plan View the background to item 6. View the decision for item 6. Decision: 5/2006 The Cabinet noted current performance against the Council's performance targets as indicated for the first six months of the year.
7.	Local Development Framework: Statement of Community Involvement View the background to item 7. View the decision for item 7. Decision: 4/2006 The Cabinet agreed to recommend that Council approve the Statement of Community Involvement as amended in response to public consultation for submission to the First Secretary of State in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development)(England) Regulations 2004.
