Councillor Vince Maple - Other Significant Interests - Councillors Kemp, Maple, Mark Prenter and Van Dyke declared an interest in Motion 8A as they are members of the Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority. The Medway Council Monitoring Officer had granted these Members a dispensation to enable them to participate in discussion and voting on the motion. However, the Members had subsequently received advice from the Monitoring Officer of the Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority who had indicated that should these Members participate in a debate on Motion 8A, they might be unable to participate in future debates on the matter at the Authority.
