Following consideration by the Regeneration, Community and Culture Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 4 October 2011 this report will present the Interim Medway Housing Design Standards for approval. The standards are intended to provide planning guidance to developers, landowners and their advisors on the layout and space standards that will be expected in the design of new housing and in the conversion of existing properties.
The interim standards have been the subject of extensive consultation and this paper will report on the results of the consultation and proposes a way forward.
