Care Experience as a Protected Characteristic

Summary

This report will ask the Cabinet to recommend to Full Council on 18 July 2024 that experience of care is recognised as a protected characteristic.

The report is first due to be considered by the Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 12 June 2024 and by Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 18 June 2024.
