Summary
The report will request that the Cabinet gives authority to officers to commence assessing the need for and consulting with communities in relation to selective licensing in certain areas of Medway (licensing of all properties that are privately rented in a designated area) and additional licensing (licensing of smaller houses in multiple occupation).
The report will set out activity required to present further recommendations to the Cabinet to designate areas of Medway as areas subject to selective or additional licensing.
