Referral from the School Transport and Curriculum Appeals Committee - Amendment to Education Travel Assistance Policy

Summary

This report will set out a recommendation made to the Cabinet by the School Transport and Curriculum Appeals Committee at a meeting on 14 January 2021.

 

The Committee recommended that Cabinet consider amending the Education Travel Assistance Policy to account for whether pupils who secure a place at a Medway Grammar School on appeal should also be classed as being of grammar ability under the policy.

 

The Cabinet will be asked to consider the recommendation made by the Committee.
