Council Tax Reduction Scheme

Summary

This report will provide details of a proposal to consult on proposed changes to the Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2018/2019.

 

The proposed changes relate to the full roll out of Universal Credit and amendments made by the Government to the pensioner Council Tax Reduction Scheme and Housing Benefit regulations means that changes are needed to the working age scheme to keep it line with the pensioner scheme and other welfare reforms.
