Summary
This report will set out the outcome of consultation on proposals for how families will access community based Short Breaks Provision, the suggested eligibility criteria for Short Breaks and the proposal that Direct Payments be the main vehicle by which families purchase Short Breaks. Cabinet agreed to consult on the proposals on 7 June 2016 and the outcome of consultation was initially reported to Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 6 October 2016 with further reports back to the Committee on 6 December 2016 and 9 March 2017.
