Shared Lives - Review of Charging for Living Expenses

Summary

On 8 March 2016 the Cabinet considered a report that provided an overview of proposed changes to the charging arrangements for Shared Lives Clients in Adults Social Care. The Cabinet agreed to a public consultation being carried out, which would propose the introduction of the normal living charge for clients in receipt of a Shared Lives Service. This report will set out the outcome of the consultation to enable decisions to be made in respect of the possible introduction of the proposed change and the subsequent amendment of the current charging policy.
