Sufficiency of School Places (Primary); Outcome of Options Appraisals from 2014 Review of School Organisation Plan

Summary

The report will outline the options appraisals, approved at the 30 September 2104 Cabinet meeting under decision 162/2014, to ensure a sufficiency of primary school places in Gillingham and Strood. It will highlight the advantages and disadvantages of the various options and make recommendations based upon these findings.

Consultation process

The report will request approval from Cabinet to commence the statutory consultation process for each individual proposal. The outcomes of the consultations will be reported back to the Cabinet and the Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Committee during 2015.
