Summary

This report advises Cabinet of a recommendation from the Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee regarding the Health and Lifestyle Trainers (HALT) contract with the Sunlight Development Trust.

It is noted that the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements)(Meetings and Access to Information)(England) Regulations 2012 requires 28 clear days’ notice of the intention to make a key decision. On this occasion it has not been possible to provide this 28 clear days’ notice, therefore, section 10 (General Exception) of the above regulations has been complied with. The Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee considered this matter on 30 September 2014 which was after the publication date of the current Forward Plan (29 September 2014).
