It is noted that the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements)(Meetings and Access to Information)(England) Regulations 2012 requires 28 clear days’ notice of the intention to make a key decision. On this occasion it has not been possible to provide this 28 clear days’ notice.In line with the Constitution of the South Thames Gateway Building Control Joint Committee confirmation has now been received that a revised draft of the business plan has been sent to each partner authority for their final approval.This item needs to be considered alongside the proposed 2014/2015 Budget proposals, as the constituent authorities are required to make contributions to fund non chargeable activities. Therefore, section 10 (General Exception) of the above regulations have been complied with.
