Park and Ride, Marconi Way

Summary

This report will seek delegated authority for officers to appropriate the former Park and Ride site at Marconi Way.

 

Planning permission has been granted for the development of the Park & Ride site and the parties wish to proceed to complete the sale to enable the development to commence and as a result this matter cannot wait until the next Cabinet meeting on 14 January 2014.

It is noted that the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements)(Meetings and Access to Information)(England) Regulations 2012 requires 28 clear days’ notice of the intention to make a key decision. On this occasion it has not been possible to provide this 28 clear days’ notice, therefore, section 10 (General Exception) of the above regulations have been complied with.
