Technical Reforms of Council Tax and Business Rates Retention


The Local Government Finance Act 2012 establishes a framework for the local retention of business ratesA review is due of the Council’s guidelines for the award of various discretionary reliefs from business rates. The report will set out proposals in respect of these issues.
