Local taxi companies and Medway Council are trying to get rid of Uber in Medway Towns. An Uber driver told me yesterday that it's official that Uber will be gone from Medway by December 2019.
Other people and I rely on the Uber app to get from A to B. Whether it be going to work, going to a family members house, where ever it may be, i use Uber.
There's so many reasons as to why Uber is ten times better than a Cab...You can see where the car is when being picked up, you can share your trip with friends/family so they know youre safe, you can pay via card on your phone, you can rate the driver after your ride, all the drivers details are on your phone, you can communicate with the driver when being picked up, Ubers are so much more cheaper, the list could go on.
I don't like using local taxis as I don't feel very safe at all!
Uber drivers are fully licensed and 100% safe.
Another reason why we shouldn't get rid of Uber is because 100's of drivers would be losing their job! If the local taxi drivers have such problem with Uber then they should join them!
