The Standards
Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high
standards of conduct by Councillors, co-opted members and church
and parent governor representatives serving on the Children and
Adults Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
The Committee is comprised of four Councillors, six independent
members and three Parish Council members. The committee deals with
requests for dispensations from members and Parish Councillors and
the Committee also deals with allegations of breaches of the
Members’ Code of Conduct.
Complaints about
member conduct should be sent to the Monitoring Officer ideally
using the
complaints form (pdf 81KB), which we have produced for this
purpose.
