This report updates Members on the Kent and Medway Suicide Prevention Strategy for Children and Young people. There is a separate strategy for adults, which is being presented to the Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee. It also includes the summary outcomes from local consultation and changes made in line with feedback receive.

This report seeks the Committee’s comments on the proposed changes to the current Foster Care Fees and Allowance Policy before they are considered by the Cabinet for approval. The implementation of a revised scheme is crucial to improving the ‘offer’ to attract and retain Local Authority Foster Carers in Medway.
