This report seeks to provide an update on the leadership arrangements at Medway NHS Foundation Trust and the recent reinspection of the Trust’s urgent and emergency care services.

The purpose of this report is to update the Committee on the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (KMICB) Community Services procurement including completion of bid evaluation and Contract Award, outlining next steps and key risks and associated mitigations.  The report also updates the Committee on communications and engagement plans.

To provide Members of the Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee with information relating to the current waiting list pressures in Adult Social Care and to provide reassurance regarding the actions being taken to reduce waiting lists for care assessments and reviews, for Medway residents.

The One Medway Council Plan (OMCP) 2024/28 sets out the Council’s priorities and the performance indicators used to monitor performance. This report and appendices summarise how we performed in Quarter 4 (Q4) 2024/25 on the delivery of these priorities. This report also presents the Q4 2024/25 review of strategic risks which fall under the remit of this Committee.
