Purpose:
This report seeks cabinet's agreement to the
establishment of a local area agreement innovation partnership fund
with the PCT to support the delivery of LAA targets relating to
health and social care
Decision:
204/2008 The Cabinet approved the creation of
the LAA Partnership Innovation Fund and the section 75 agreement as
attached at appendix 1 to the report.
Reasons for the decision:
Both the council and PCT have statutory duties
to co-operate in the delivery of the Local Area Agreement. The
establishment of this partnership fund will be a very positive step
to boost the capacity to deliver and further cement partnership
working between the council and the PCT.
