To report to Members the outsome of
consultation on the Gillingham Town Centre Framework.
Decision:
97/2007 The Cabinet agreed to adopt the
Gillingham Town Centre Development Framework subject to the changes
recommended in Appendix 2 of the report as a supplementary planning
document to the Medway Local Plan 2003.
Reasons for the decision:
An approved development framework must be in
place to ensure development within Gillingham town centre is
carried out in an integrated way and that development is of high
quality and in accordance with the Local Plan and other policy
guidance.
