To report on the latest monitoring position.

27/2007 The Cabinet noted that spend and commitments on the approved programme since 1 April 2006 to date amounted to approximately £48.691 million.
28/2007 The Cabinet noted that forecast spend during 2006/2007 amounted to £86.395 million.
29/2007 The Cabinet noted that the proposed additions to the capital programme, referred to in sections 5.2 and 6 of the report, will be incorporated within the Capital Programme report being considered by Cabinet on 20 February 2007.

Cabinet has the responsibility to ensure effective budgetary control to contain expenditure within the approved limits set by Council.
