This report will report back to Cabinet on the
outcome of consultation on the following schools: Bligh Infant
School, Delce Infant School, Thames View Infant School and Warren
Wood Primary School.
80/2005 The Cabinet agreed for an impact
assessment, including a formal Commission for Racial Equality (CRE)
scoping, to be carried out on these proposals to determine their
financial, social and educational implications, which will be
reported back to Cabinet in due course.
The Council's policy is to allow the
establishment of additional Foundation Stage education places at
schools, where it can be shown that the quality of provision will
be good, and where doing so is consistent with the Council's
statutory duties. An impact assessment will determine the benefits
of such a proposal.
