Purpose:
PWC is required to issue an Audit Letter to
the Council on completion of their audit, demonstrating that the
Code's objectives have been addressed and summarising all issues of
significance arising from their work and this Cabinet report will
set out the points raised in the letter.
Decision:
2/2005 The Cabinet accepted the Audit and
Inspection Letter and approved the suggested management
response.
Reasons for the decision:
There is a statutory requirement for PWC to
produce an audit and inspection letter, with a copy submitted to
Cabinet and distributed to every Member.
