This report will provide details of the
Development Brief for Grange Farm and propose that it is adopted as
a Supplementary Planning Document.
Decision:
420/2004 The Cabinet agreed that the
development brief for Grange Farm be adopted as a Supplementary
Planning Document (SPD), subject to no objections being received
from the consultation bodies under the Environmental Assessment of
Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
Reasons for the decision:
The Grange Farm Development Brief relates to
an important development site allocated in the Medway Local Plan.
The development brief considers many detailed issues, which need to
be addressed at the planning application stage. The development
brief will ensure that development is carried out in accordance
with the requirements of the Medway Local Plan and that the
developers properly address the impact of those developments on the
local community.
