This report will set out information and opportunities for the Council to make bids for part of the additional ODPM sustainable communities funding. The report will update Cabinet on spend to date and progress on getting approvals for existing projects.

333/2004 The Cabinet agreed to take the opportunity to bid for further funding for Medway, and agreed the list of projects (as tabled at the meeting) to be submitted to the ODPM.
334/2004 The Cabinet agreed the arrangements for the drawdown of funding for the Community Enterprise Hubs and Community Learning Centres by other partners in North Kent.

To ensure that funding is available to enable regeneration in Medway to take place and to ensure acceleration of progress on the Community Enterprise Hubs so far as this is consistent with protecting the Council's interests
