191/2009 The Cabinet approved the continuation of the given contracts.

The continuation of the service will allow the solid level of supported bus services to continue, which is a valued part of sustainable transportation for Medway. The Scholar's Seasons Ticket scheme also provides valuable home to school transportation for children that would otherwise have to rely upon their parents to take them to school. By continuing this scheme Medway Council continue to provide to the children that utilise the service a safe method of journeying to school. Environmental benefits are also provided by both schemes by reducing the number of vehicles that are on the road at peak and off-peak transportation times.
