Purpose:
This report sets out details of the recent
Audit Commission inspection of Medway's strategic housing function
and will include an action plan for Cabinet's approval.
Decision:
151/2008 The Cabinet agreed that the outcome
of the strategic inspection report be noted, and that the
improvement plan set out in appendix 2 to the report (as tabled at
the meeting) be adopted.
Reasons for the decision:
The adoption of a formal improvement plan will
mean that progress against targets can be monitored and
met
