Purpose:
To consider the outcome of consultation on the
Developer Contributions Guide.
Decision:
101/2008 The Cabinet approved the adoption of
the Medway Council Guide to Developer Contributions as a
Supplementary Planning Document.
102/2008 The Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of
Regeneration, Community and Culture, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder for Strategic Development and Economic Growth, to
agree minor technical changes to the document.
Reasons for the decision:
This decision will enable the Council to
provide developers, land owners and their advisors with clear
advice on S106 requirements and should assist officers in
negotiating individual S106 Agreements.
