This report provides details on the introduction of a local validation checklist, and in conjunction with other Kent Local Authorities, this will form part of Government's new standard electronic application form and national validation checklist for planning applications.

93/2008 The Cabinet adopted the local validation checklists.

To ensure all information necessary for the Local Planning Authority to make a decision is provided at the start of the application process.Local Checklists are the same countywide to ensure a quicker, more predictable and efficient planning service for customers and stakeholders.
