The Pilgrim School (Outcome of consultation)

Decision Maker: Cabinet

Decision status: Decision made

Is Key decision?: Yes

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Purpose:

To report back to Cabinet on consultation on options for a permanent site for The Pilgrim (Voluntary Controlled, Church of England) School.

Decision:

41/2006 The Cabinet approved the Warwick Crescent site as the new permanent site for The Pilgrim (Voluntary Controlled, Church of England) School and authorised officers to apply to the School Organisation Committee to have their decision of 24 August 2004 modified to designate Warwick Crescent as the permanent site of the Pilgrim School.

Reasons for the decision:

The decision by the Development Control Committee meant the school could not be located on the Borstal Playing field site and therefore the Council had to decide on an alternative permanent site and apply to the School Organisation Committee for a modification to its original decision.
