This report will present a review of public car parking in the Gillingham High Street area.

132/2005 The Cabinet agreed to recommend to Council to:
(i) Delegate authority to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services to proceed with the purchase of the site on the terms set out in the exempt appendix.
(ii) Add the scheme to the approved capital programme.

To maintain the existing level of off-street car parking provision in Gillingham town centre, protect its viability as a key retail centre and enhance existing revenue income.
