The Government requires an Annual Monitoring
Report (AMR) to be prepared to show if Local Development Frameworks
(LDFs) are achieving their aims and delivering sustainable
development. Its purpose is to report on both the performance of
specific planning policies and a summary of progress against
milestones set out for the preparation of Local Development
Documents identified as part of the Local Development Scheme.

232/2009 The Cabinet agreed that the 2009
Annual Monitoring Report be approved and submitted to the
Government Office for the South East by 31 December 2009.
To satisfy the requirements of the Planning
and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and associated guidance.
