64/2009 The Cabinet recommended that Council approves the reduction in housing rents, as detailed in section 2 of the report, commencing from 20 July 2009 subject to confirmation that all costs will be reimbursed.

The Government have indicated that, in view of the current economic climate, the rent increases levied for 2009/2010 should be reduced and that any losses in rental income resulting from this will be reimbursed.
