105/2003 The Cabinet agreed that the Director
of Development and Environment be given delegated authority to
accept the tender for the highway works on the A278 as set out in
paragraph 4.3 of the report.
Reasons for the decision:
Prior approval to delegated powers is sought
to enable sufficient time to allow the works to be undertaken
during July and August 2003. This is to allow works to be carried
out with lower traffic flows and to get the lowest possible rates
for the works.
