The Cabinet is recommended to exclude the press and public for the consideration of item 13 (Development Covenant on MHS Homes) under paragraphs 7, 8 and 9 of schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

12/2003 The cabinet agreed the proposal to use resources currently allocated to housing capital schemes to fund the purchase of nomination rights from mhs homes, as set out in section four of the report, conditional upon completion of the new homelessness agreement and recommends that Council agrees the necessary virement as set out in this report. This will not include the interest referred to in paragraph 4.3 of the report.

The proposal will help in delivering and meeting housing need.
