This paper reports the outcome of consultation with the LA21/Environment partnership board following the cabinet decision on 26 November 2002 to consult prior to reconsidering the called in decision. Please note that Appendix A to this report is exempt under para 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

10/2003 The Cabinet deferred this item until the next meeting to allow further discussion with the LA21/Environment Partnership Board concerning administrative support as set out in paragraph 5.2.4 to the report.

The council is committed to taking action in support of sustainable development. An external report has highlighted areas where considerable improvements can be made. Deferral of this item will provide further time to discuss the issues raised in paragraph 5.2.4 to the report, concerning administrative support to the teams.
