This item details the outcome of a scrutiny of the options report for a best value review of services to young people, which was considered at a meeting of the Youth and Education overview and Scrutiny Committee on 31 October 2002.

The best value review of services to young people is included within the council's best value performance plan. The decisions set out above address the required improvements to the service identified in the options report. Those items with no provision within existing budgets would be considered as part of the budget setting process for 2003/2004.
