The purpose of the report is to seek Cabinet approval to develop a series of informal recreational activity areas throughout Medway.

The Cabinet approved the proposal for the neighbourhood youth projects as set out in 4.1 of the report.
Cabinet approved each project and the funding allocation for each project (with suitable amendment to reflect the revised youth shelter costs of £3,000), as set out in section 5 of the report, subject to:1. discussions with planning officers;2. consultation with relevant local residents; and3. consultation with the relevant ward members

These decisions would help develop a series of informal recreational activities for young people.
