434LICENSING ACT 2003 - POLICE ANNUAL REPORT ON LICENSING MATTERS
 Discussion:
 
The Medway Police annual report on licensing matters was presented to the Committee and Members asked the Police representative questions and made comments.
In particular questions were asked relating to the following topics:
 •Overview
 •Administration of licensed premises
 •Anti-social behaviour
 •Problem premises
 •Test purchasing operations
 •Enforcement operations
 •Responsible alcohol sale campaign
 •Impact of longer licensing hours
 •Impact of changes to smoking laws
 •Future threats eg "pre-fuelling".
