 (b)Prejudicial interests under the Medway Code of Conduct

A councillor who declares a prejudicial interest must withdraw from the room unless a dispensation has been obtained from the council's Standard's Committee or the exemption under paragraph 12(2) of the Medway Code of Conduct applies.

If an interest is not declared at the outset of the meeting, it should be disclosed as soon as the interest becomes apparent.
5LICENSING CODE OF CONDUCT
 
This report seeks comments on the proposed draft Licensing Code of Conduct and authorisation for the Monitoring Officer to consult on the code and seek approval from the council for its adoption.

6LOCAL INVESTIGATION AND DETERMINATION OF COMPLAINTS AGAINST MEMBERS OF MEDWAY COUNCIL AND PARISHES WITHIN MEDWAY
 
This report presents for approval revised procedures for dealing with the local investigation and determination of complaints which are referred to the Standards Committee for determination.
