COVID-19 Local Outbreak Control Plan Briefing pdf icon PDF 265 KB

This report provides an update on the Local Outbreak Control Plan (LOCP) including the updated Health Protection Board Terms of Reference, the new legislative powers granted to the Directors of Public Health as described within the Contain Framework and the outcomes of and plans for stress testing the LOCP. This report also details the proposed public engagement strategy for the Joint Board fulfilling the role of the Local Outbreak Engagement Board (LOEB).

Proposal to Develop a Strategic Plan to Mitigate the Impact of COVID-19 on Health Inequalities pdf icon PDF 287 KB

The Kent and Medway Joint Health and Wellbeing Board is asked to discuss and consider how it will respond to the widening health inequalities experienced in Kent and Medway and exacerbated by Covid-19. The Joint Board is asked to consider developing a joint plan setting out how partners could work together to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities and, as part of this work to hold a development session to explore the emerging impact of Covid-19 on the health and wellbeing of our communities in greater depth.

Digitisation and Technology in Care Homes and the Wider Care Sector pdf icon PDF 250 KB

This report will provide an overview of three digital programmes of work:

 

1)    Digital Care Homes Accelerating Digital Pathways for Care Homes

2)    Telecare / Telemedicine Network

3)    Kent, Alcove and RETHINK Alliance (Kara)

 

This report will be accompanied by a presentation.
