Committee details

The Standards Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct by Councillors, co-opted members and church and parent governor representatives serving on the Children and Adults Overview and Scrutiny Committee.  The Committee is comprised of four Councillors, six independent members and three Parish Council members. The committee deals with requests for dispensations from members and Parish Councillors and the Committee also deals with allegations of breaches of the Members’ Code of Conduct.
