To ask members to agree to a review and public consultation on the future organisation of Fairview Infant and Fairview Junior community schools.

The Cabinet agreed to a review of primary school places in Fairview and to go out to public consultation on the proposed options.

This decision is supported by the unique opportunity created by the retirements and resignations of four senior staff; the strong support for the amalgamation by the headteachers and chair of governors and the logic of amalgamating two community schools that are on the same site.
